Five years ago, Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. of Japan set up a Hitachi excavator company in Hefei, and used Japanese Hitachi’s advanced technology and management for production. Due to the high product quality, high technical level, and adaptability to the market, the company’s annual output is increasing. . By the year 2000, the annual output has reached more than 1,500 units, with a production value of more than one billion yuan, and a tax payment of more than 100 million yuan. From January to April of this year, the output of excavators increased by more than 60% over the same period of last year. Excavators have become one of the most important products of Anhui Machinery Industry.

Wang Taihua, secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, said at the meeting that Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.'s cooperation in Anhui was successful and hoped to further broaden cooperation channels, develop new cooperation projects, and achieve faster development in the new century. Mr. Okada said that the successful development of Hefei Hitachi is inseparable from the favorable investment environment provided by Anhui Province and Hefei City. In the future, both parties should work together to achieve greater development.
