The assembly line uses a fully-automatic circular track to replace the battery in one step, and the overall vehicle replacement time is only 2 minutes (photo taken on February 28th). As one of the important projects to help Beijing's circular economy and clean energy development, the State Grid Gaoantun electric vehicle charging and swapping station has begun trial operation. The charging and swapping station can accumulate 146,000 times of accumulated power exchange service capacity. It is currently the largest electric vehicle charging and switching station in China and has the characteristics of “recycling low-carbon, intelligent and efficient, and independent innovationâ€. The Gaoantun Charging and Switching Station has a total of 4 current-changing waterlines, 1 distribution line, 1044 chargers installed, and 10080 kilowatts of charging capacity. It can serve 8 electric vehicles at the same time, and the overall vehicle replacement time averages 6 to 8 minutes. The time for refueling with conventional vehicles is basically the same.

The Gaoantun Charging and Swapping Station has applied new environmental protection technologies in its own construction. It has 1,280 solar modules installed on the roof of its main building and uses the microgrid control system to connect the photovoltaic power generation system. The average annual power generation is 267,200 kWh, and the annual emissions can be reduced. More than 400 tons of carbon dioxide (photographed on February 28th).
