Recently, Capstone Turbine received an order to supply a C1000 Signature series of micro turbines and a C600 Signature series of micro turbines for an offshore oil and gas platform on the California coast. 
The order was acquired by Capstone's California-based distributor Regatta Solutions and is expected to be commissioned in December this year. Customers choose Capstone microturbines for their cost-effectiveness, reliability and experience in the offshore environment, while Capstone microturbines also meet local SCAQMD Best Control Technology (BACT) pollution emission levels.
It is reported that this C1000S power is 1 MW, the combined efficiency of heat and power is up to 90%; the power of C600S turbine is 600 kW, and the combined efficiency of heat and power is as high as 90%.
